How to turn off alarm after timer reaches the set time?

I set my timer for 30 seconds to do some repeat exercises of 30 sec each. after the first exercise the alarm just keeps going and going, even after I restart the timer. It just keeps sounding and I see no way to stop it. This stinks! The article here on setting the timer does not address this. Do you think people want to hear a never-ending timer alarm when the allotted time is reached???

Hello, If I'm understanding you correctly in order to turn off the current alarm you simply swipe up the "Clock Timer Now" alert at the top of the iPhone screen to turn off that alarm. If you start another timer and don't close out the current timer the alarm will just continue. Make sense?
