Is there DTMF touchtone control setting?

I hardly hear the touchtone when I dial the phone unless I put it next to my ears. Is there a way to increase the sound? And furthermore, I don't hear any touch-tone wearing Airpods Pro, why?

Hello Girshon Rutstein,

We see you have questions regarding DTMF tones on your iPhone, and we'd be happy to help.

There are not any settings on the iPhone that would help to adjust the volume of the DTMF tones specifically.

You may find the available volume controls in Settings > Sounds & Haptics.

As DTMF tones are a carrier-related feature, you may wish to try reaching out to them if you continue to experience issues with using them.

Cheers.

Thanks Eric, for your suggestions,

I did follow, and the results are:

  1. The senior advisor agreed with me to post this issue on the Apple community board which I did.
  2. The mobile carrier does not support DTMF sound coming through the Airpods Pro. I do have a tiny sound coming through speakers when I am not wearing the Airpods.

The conclusion, it's not a major thing and I can live without the DTMF, as long there is a dial tone.

And thanks for your time.
