Face ID not working on iPad M1 Pro 12.9 inch 250GB Model

I got the M1 iPad Pro on Tuesday and set up Face ID just fine, it was unlocking the iPad until Thursday night. I tried unlocking my iPad with my face and it said the camera was covered. My iPad was in portrait, my hands were on the sides, there is no screen protector, I wiped off the camera multiple times in case there were finger prints or something, it was completely uncovered. No luck. So I reset my Face ID and tried to set it up again. Now when I try to set it up it tells me “Face ID is not available try setting up Face ID later”. I’ve tried restarting it, I’ve tried doing the vol up, vol down, hold power button to restart it and nothing is working. My iPad is currently running iOS 15.0.2. Please help.

If you continue to experience difficulties, you might be best advised to seek assistance directly from from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Get Support link at top-right of this page. Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad for faults:
