travelling simcard changed my number to that of the simcard. Can this be changed
how to change a temporary simcard number for messages to my home number.

Hey peter.behrmann,
We see that you want to change your number for your Messages app. The phone number attached to the SIM is the number your iPhone is going to use for Messages. The only way to change this number is by using a SIM card with a different number
