facetime not working

Just recently I am no longer able to initiate or answer an incoming Facetime call successfully. When I call my wife's phone it doesn't ring. When she calls me it rings and I accept, it shows my video, but never connects with her. I just tried it with my brother and it rang both ways but would not connect.

I read something where it said that the phones had to be on the same revision IOS so I upgraded my wife's to the current revision and mine was already there. This had not effect on correcting the problem.

Any input on what is going on and how to correct it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi cjlksc,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We see that you're unable to make FaceTime calls on your iPhone. Are you using Wi-Fi or cellular data for your FaceTime calls? You'll want to make sure that the correct phone number and email are listed in FaceTime settings for your device. Please also take a look at the article provided and follow the troubleshooting steps listed.
