Apple iPad keyboard disintegrating

My apple iPad keyboard is falling appart. It is over the warranty period but this seems to be a product defect. Is there a replacement policy for this item?

None of Apple's warranty policies cover any cosemetic damages.

ONLY warranties for functionality and operarability.

Sorry.

I have never seen a Magic Keyboard as badly damaged, cosmetically, as yours.

Just out of curiosity, how did this keyboard case get this way?

it began to delaminate about a month ago. the keyboard no longer works either.

What happened to this keybiard and keyboard cover.

Where was this iPad and keyboard cover being left or stored?

The keyboard appears to have been left sitting in the sun, perhaps in a hot car.

That is my guess, as well.

It was being left in a hot enviroment for prolonged periods of time.

Probably why the keyboard, itself, failed, too!
