Safari spinning wheel MacBook Air Big Sur

Whenever I open Safari I get the famous colored spinning wheel. I have forced quit ½ dozen times. Reinstalled OS, etc

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

Hi Quetal,


It looks like you're having issues with Safari on your Mac. If that's correct, let's try the following.


Use Private Browsing in Safari on Mac


Does this happen in a private window?


Also, try quitting Safari and then hold the shift key while opening Safari. Does the issue continue then?


If you continue to have the issue, try booting to safe mode.


Start up your Mac in safe mode
