iTunes song orders

Is it possible to cancel an iTunes order after it's been placed?

Are you talking about a pre-order? If it is still pending, it can be canceled per the steps in here: See or cancel pre-orders for apps, movies, music, or books - Apple Support


If you are talking about a regular song purchase, the transaction is immediate so there is no way to cancel. However if there is a problem such as a mistaken purchase, you can request a refund: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

I purchased an iTunes song by mistake. I checked my account billing and found the purchase. I clicked Report a Problem. Reply was, "Something went wrong." How can I find out what went wrong if no details are presented and then try to get a refund on my account for the cost of the mistakenly purchased song? This transaction is costing me in time wasted more than the price of the song.
