I just bought my phone 13pro max 512gb yesterday. Transfer from my old phone to this new one and the system data is 163gb???? How come ??? Can you please explain and fix? Thanks.

This almost certainly has to do with loading your photos onto your new iPhone. You’ve omitted details such as whether you use iCloud Photos, and whether the entire photo library has yet completed its download to your iPhone.

Thanks for your response. What should I do now? Even in my old phone I used 256gb with exactly the same amount of photos and apps, it’s not even this 400gb like this. This is really confusing me
This is an IOS error. Need Apple to fix. Or some way for system to recalc.
