Not getting notifications after updating to ios15

Hi Everyone, just after updating my iPhone to ios 15, I do not get notifications for apps (Facebook messenger , Facebook, what's app or messages) both while using or on lock screen. I have to manually open each app and check for messages or notifications. I've updated to the latest update. It's getting increasingly frustrating as I keep missing messages and updates throughout the day. I have turned off 'focus' and deleted any focus category and automation that I could delete. I also have focus state 'disabled'. I do not ever plan to use this function and I need notifications coming in at all times of the day. 'Sheduled summary' and 'notification grouping' is off and all app notifications are set to 'banners sound and badges with 'always show preview'. My phone is always kept on 'silent mode' with the 'do not disturb button' on all the time. Is this interfering with 'do not disturb' on 'focus' and preventing me from getting notifications?

If you have the iPhone on silent, and you have Do Not Disturb on, you will not receive notifications. That is what Do Not Disturb does, silences any and all notifications.

Use that link I provided the other poster on how to deal with notifications when you have an Apple Watch. If the Watch is powered off, then notifications, if configured correctly, should go to the iPhone.

Thank you for your reply. I have the phone on silent but do not disturb is never on. I have had it in the same configuration as always and I didn't have issues with it before the update. So I am just wondering if there's something I have missed in the new update that's preventing me from receiving notifications.

Hi Chris! I have the same problem for a few weeks now and I have an Apple Watch paired to the phone. I tried unpairing it and still having the problem. Can you please advise?

I'm sorry, but in the original question, you stated that you have Do Not Disturb on all the time. Use this to double-check your notification settings. Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support Do you happen to have an Apple Watch, paired to your iPhone?
