Yet another random freeze and reboot thread

Hi all - 2015 27" iMac. Just took it to Mactronics in Austin, passes the Apple deep dive diagnostic. I get a clean install of Big Sur, nothing else on the computer, no pictures, no music, no apps except for Firefox. NADA. I set it up as if it was brand new.

After being on for about 24 hours it has the random freeze and restart issue I took it in for. 3 times in a row.

Any idea ( AGAIN) what's happening, memory issues maybe ? Take it out and try a different brand ? Go back to Catalina and try that ?

Also, you can go to the Apple Menu () > About This Mac > System Report > Memory, then look for "Manufacturer".

I believe we need to proceed with an EtreCheck report. EtreCheck is a useful App to diagnose and identify issues, both hardware and software. It is trusted by many users. Please follow the steps outlined below:

Navigate to: https://etrecheck.com and get the free version of EtreCheckPro.
Download it. It is a free and trusted app. It is often recommended here on Apple Support Communities.
Open EtreCheck, and before running the report, be sure to check “Allow full Drive Access” at the bottom of the EtreCheckPro window.
Run the report, and put it in a post, as seen here: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-250000211. We will then examine the report for issues in your Mac.

Also, what brand of RAM is currently installed?

Ha !! I figured you'd have me do that. I don't know the brand, I got this from a friend who works at Apple and I don't believe he ever had this issue with it. Mactronics might remember when I talk to them on Monday

"0x802C" indicates Micron RAM. You only ever want Apple, Micron/Crucial, or OWC RAM installed.

However, on the other RAM modules, "0x00" is listed. This is not a valid manufacturer code, and the part number is missing. I suspect this may be an issue. However, let's see the EtreCheck report as well.
