i can not access to my iphone when i connect it to my macbook pro

any time I try to connect my iPhone to my 2018 MacBook Pro to have a backup of my files but there is no response, the phone battery charges but doesn't let me access to the phone, better say in the finder under the locations botton can not see the phone.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.6
