Notch frustration with YouTube.

when watching a YouTube video, the “cast” button is 80% hidden behind the notch in my iPhone 13 pro. To cast the video to my TV I have to turn and go to landscape and then I’m able to hit the button. Does anyone know the fix to this?

iPhone Xs max crops video in landscape mode In the last week or so my iPhone Xs max, iOS 12.4.1, has started cropping TV video in landscape mode. It displays the full frame in portrait mode but crops a bit off the top and bottom of the frame when turned to landscape. It always used to display the full frame in landscape. In landscape not all screen space is used and the cropped frame is pinned to the top of the screen. A double tap on the screen expands the width of the frame to the width of the screen, but it stays pinned to the top of the screen and the top and bottom remain cropped despite available screen space. Going to zoomed mode did not influence the crop. Looking for suggestion on how to get the phone to display full frame TV in landscape mode.

thumbnail upside down Hi all I am using an iPhone 11 Pro with The DJI OM 4 SE To create video’s. Am using the DJI Mimo app for the video recording. When I upload an unedited video to a website, the thumbnail is shown upside down. When making the video in landscape mode, the volume buttons are below and the on/off button is up. When the video starts, the orientation is correct. Who knows how to fix this?

Why does my video pause when switching from portrait to landscape? I used to be able to open an app like Discovery Plus or Netflix, and play a show or documentary while having the phone in my pocket and going for a walk. Not now! Every generation of iPhone (5, 6+, 10, 12) worked just fine. If a video was playing the only thing that would pause it was the pause button. No more and this occurred overnight. I woke up to find my phone had updated to 15.6.1 and suddenly my phone is pausing when I switch the phone to landscape from portrait. What’s odd is this not not happen when switching back to portrait from landscape. This is super frustrating because many times, I might be walking around the house doing chores or something and have to constantly keep hitting the play button because the a slight tilt of the phone switches to landscape. This is definitely a bug and related to the IOS. Hence the very reason why I explain my procrastination behind downloading the latest IOS as soon as it comes out. It never fails that an update to my phone with cause some function to go haywire when it was working perfectly before. Please!!!! Any advice on what is going on and if there is a workaround/fix in the near future?

YouTube is their service and they control the layout of their website and app
