Scan option no longer showing

I have a Canon PIXMA MG8200 printer/scanner. Up until now, I have been using an iMac with a High Sierra OS. When I clicked on the printer icon, there was a Scan option available. Same for my MacBook Pro running the Catalina OS. I recently upgraded to a new iMac running Big Sur, and the Scan option is no longer available. Is there any fix for this? I have tried the "Set Up Scanner to Use with Mac", to no avail.

iMac 24″, macOS 11.6

If it is listed as AirPrint printer, delete the existing printer in

> System Preferences> Printers & Scanners, and add it again, select AirPrint.
