I'd like to know with certainty whether a subscription will be charge to my Apple ID balance. Is that possible?

Normally, all payments are taken from your account balance before your payment method is charged If the subscription is billed through Apple.

Thanks for your response. While it appears that usually the Apple ID balance is charged first, the relevant information page also states: "Some subscriptions may not be charged to your Apple ID balance." I am wondering if it's possible to know whether or not a subscription will be charged to my Apple ID balance BEFORE I purchase the subscription.

I have not sen a list or anybody mention a having seen to which subscriptions those apply.
