Using Apple Watch in a MasterSpa Swim Spa

I understand that Apple Watches are not recommended for use in high velocity water sports. I was wondering if this applies to swimming in a SwimSpa where the current is produced by 2 or 4 jets that allows one to swim in place? I am considering an Apple Watch SE or a 6. Thank you for clarifying.
