Does the 9th generation iPad have a wireless charging option?

No.

Wirreless, inductive, magnetic charging requires a glass panel or ALL glass design, in order to isolate the charging current from, possible, user electrical shock issues.

iPhones and Watch have this sufficient, elextrical current isolating glass, as part of their design.


iPad back panels/chassis are made of an aluninium alloy that is NOT safe to allow any type of inductive, magnetic, wireless electrical charging system.
