trade in

I received trade in box a few days ago, Oct22. The procedure to trade in is send back within 14 days.

However my order will be received Oct 28(estimate).

I only have a week to send back trade in.

Is there any chance to get a grace period for a week?

When is a trade-in "initiated" for the sake of the 14-day return window? Hello! I was wondering, when it comes to initiating a trade-in for a shipped online purchase, when does the 14 day timer on sending in the item to be traded in start? Is it as soon as the purchase is made, or is it from date of receipt? I'm asking because the item I would want to use trade-in credit on would not arrive until roughly 12 days after purchase, and I want to be able to transfer data over before sending the old item in for trade. Apple's online trade-in service I traded in my MacBook on Apple's online trade-in service, and the website says it's 14 days to estimate the value of my device. The package tracking shows that I received the package on 12/9, it has been 14 days and I still received any emails. what I have to do?
