Apple TV - Turn on unit and tv at a specific time? I own an apple tv 4k unit and can manually turn on both devices when I turn on apple tv. My question is, is there a way to turn on the Apple TV box and TV set together at a set time. At 8am in the morning on weekdays, I'd would like to turn on the tv (and apple tv box) to run Sling or PlutoTV and start playing a feed. This would work as a wakeup alarm. Controlling Apple TV with HomeKit Have the Apple TV 4K showing up in HomeKit as a hub but can’t control it with any of the scene settings. Ex. I have a Phillips hue set up with the Phillips Switch. I want to hit the on (top) button and lights come up (that’s working) and the tv to come on through Apple TV (also working). Just can’t get the functionality of putting the Apple TV into Standby thusly turning off the TV (working).
