Adaptive Sync with M1 ~120Hz 4K HDR

Has anyone tested The new adaptive sync feature in Monterey? I want to buy a 4K 120hz HDR monitor (gigabyte FO48U). I’ve ordered a new 14” M1 Max 10 Core CPU, 32 Core GPU 64GB Memory.

Where I live it’s very difficult to go test in a shop. I was wondering if anyone else has tried this kind of setup and tested adaptive sync?

I found this feature in the Monterey betas (and both RCs - aka 12.0.1) and enabled it. Unfortunately it worked between 40 and 60 hz on my Samsung 24EU590. A small range for my simulator (Trainz). Especially the minimum wasn't good for me as it runs most of time 20/25 -> 60hz.

But there is and it works fine at least on my Mac Mini M1. Of course, I don't know about the desidered config of your post.
