Apple store says I have an item in my bag, but bag is empty and generates an error

Hi,

The apple store (both the app and online) says I have an item in my shopping bag (badge counter shows 1). However when I go to the shopping bag it generates an error and says to go back to the store. This occurs both in the iOS AppleStore App and Also online via browser.

I am unable to purchase anything from the apple store as a result. Please help
