It takes longer than normal Apple logo to appear after start.

It takes longer than the normal Apple logo appears after the start. It used to be 3-4 seconds now 15-17 seconds. My older Mac only 3 sec. What is going on? How to make it back how it was before?

I found the cause of this. All I had to do is to select the start-up disk in preferences. Sometimes, when I use my clone drive for a start-up I select the clone and I normally move the settings back, this time I totally forgot.

Maybe the next time I should just start with using the option key and select the drive.
