Not receiving authentication text messages

I recently switched carriers but stayed on Apple and got a new Apple iPhone I am not receiving some verification text messages I have done everything that I can find to reset it. I have uninstalled apps and reinstalled them I have gone into my messages and enabled re-enabled things I don’t have anyone blocked so I’m not sure what the problem is.
