Hi,
I'm trying to reinstall Mac OS, I first did it through Recovery mode and it had me reinstall Mac OS Monterey. It's stuck on the apple logo with the progress bar mostly full. I waited on the screen for a while and no luck. Tried to reinstall again and same issue. I then created a boot stick with an older version of Mac Os (Catalina) and the same thing is happening on that. Any ideas on why this may be occurring?

So it looks like the installation completed but never booted into regular mode. I then rebooted into safe mode and that worked. It's like regular mode is not booting up properly, could it be a hardware issue that is not able to start up in regular mode?
