How do you adjust the image size in you mail for mac email signature??

How do you insert a logo into your email signature and adjust the image size? I drag and drop it in but when I do the image is huge. Help!

Email signature image size/appearance problem I am trying to include a company logo in my email signature. It is 4kb image, 144x129 pixels, 72 DPI. I am copying the image from co-workers signatures. They are on Outlook primarily and aren't have this trouble -- the image shows perfectly in their email. When I try to include it in mine, it turns gigantic. Properly displayed, the image should be roughly .5 cm; in mine, it is 3+ cm. It looks fine as the email is being drafted, but on receipt (and even in my sent folder) it turns large. I can send the same email in Mac Outlook and it looks fine. I've even tried editing the HTML in the Library..Signatures folder. I either get the same problem (large image) or just an image placeholder comes up -- a blank square. I am on a MacBook Pro running Big Sur 11.2.3.

Photo in email signature htm file showing too large in apple mail. I've added my email signature (copied & pasted the htm. file) into the relevant field on apple mail and it's fine when inserted but as soon as I begin to write an email the images are huge. Is there a way to fix this without having to resize the images or is that the only way? Thanks!

Resize the image before you deposit it into your signature.

Many, many ways to this...

ex. Preview>Tools>Adjust size

I have inserted a logo in my signature. When the reply comes back, every email in that thread shows that image as text .png. How do I embed it that it is visible everytime?
