Mute/Silence One Contact on a Schedule

Hi!! Thank you for the help in advance. I am trying to set a schedule to mute/silence or place on Do Not Disturb for one contact. My boss has horrible boundaries for my contracted hours. I get text messages and phone calls late at night and throughout the weekend. I want to silence the texts/calls at night and the weekends. I know I can manually “hide alerts” but I forget to turn the alerts back on so he can reach I’m at work. So I was hoping to create a schedule, but I can’t see how. Any help would be great!!!

Hello DTwist635,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you'd like to set a Do Not Disturb schedule for a specific contact. We'll do our best to assist.

First of all, this is a great suggestion, setting boundaries are important in a workplace. For this, it might be good to consider setting up a Focus and a schedule to go along with it. However, you'd have to specifically select the contacts you want to receive notifications from when you set this up. Which isn't exactly what you're wanting to accomplish. Learn more about setting up a Focus and schedule for it here: Set up Focus on iPhone
