how to get /enable the "Ruler" option in Draw of MS Word or Powerpoint?

I am using macOS Big Sur 11.6.

I want to draw straight lines in MS word or MS Powerpoint using digital pen.

When I click on draw, I can see the pen options.

However, the ruler option is not visible!!

Could anyone suggest how to get /enable the "Ruler" option in Draw?

Cursor using Sidecar and Apple Pencil Hello, I just got my new iMac and was hoping to be able to use my iPad as a drawing tablet using Sidecar. But it seems that the cursor isn't visible on the iMac screen while I'm using my Apple Pencil on the iPad, unless I am actively drawing or editing. I can't see the cursor on the screen as I'm moving the pen around, like I was previously able to do with my Wacom. This makes it pretty unusable as a drawing tablet, as I'm basically just using the iPad as I've always done. Someone asked this exact question in October of 2019 and the answer given then was that this feature is not supported. Since it's now over 2 years later, is this feature supported yet? I can't seem to figure it out or find any information on it.

Can't see mouse / cursor in Adobe Ilustrator when using Sidecar Hello, I'm trying to use my iPad + Pencil as a tablet (to replace my old Wacom Bamboo, which is no longer supported in Catalina). It's all connecting fine, I have it on 'Mirror built-in retina display'. When I open up Illustrator, my main problem is that I can't see where the mouse or cursor is when I'm using the Pencil UNLESS I start drawing something. i.e. I'm drawing blindly on the canvas. I want to be looking at my iMac and not on the small iPads screen. Is there a way of making the Pencil cursor point visible when hovering over the iPad without making a random mark on my Illustrator canvas? Thanks, A

These are not Apple products. See the Microsoft Answers community where you can ask your question of Mac owners using:

MS Word

Powerpoint

Then check with the manufacturer of the digital pen to see if they support it in these two Microsoft applications.
