I am setting up my new iPad Pro I created a new Apple ID however when I got to iMessages it is giving me an error message

Hi

I am setting up my new iPad Pro. When I get to iMessages I have received an error message when I put in my brand new Apple ID and passcode

what do I do to fix this ?
