Mail notifications for different messages showing the same content on preview

Whenever I receive an email from the Mail app, the Apple Watch notification will show the correct sender, but then shows the same email body preview from a particular email I'd received in the past. It never shows the relevant email body preview which matches the content from the sender. See pics. What could be causing this? Has anyone else had this problem?
