dual sim / e-sim and whatsapp on iphone 11

Hello every one

i have an iphone 11 and planning to travel and take an e-sim in the country I am travelling to.

So I will have a Sim from my home country and E-sim from destination country.

i have whatsapp using the number of my home country sim.

Will I will be able to switch the data roaming OFF for my home SIM country and receives messages/calls on my whatsapp (registered with my home number) using the data package of my esim?
