i just got the iPhone 13 pro max and it connects to my CarPlay on my 2018 Honda Accord, but when I press play on music CarPlay stops and it no longer says my device is connected. I have tried everything to fix it and nothing works. I never had problems with my old phone with CarPlay.

It looks like you're having issues with CarPlay and your new iPhone. If that's correct, let's try the following.
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Make sure you are using the latest version of iOS.
