Siri voice changes to male during phone call requests

I have a weird problem on my iPhone 11 pro max since installing iOS 15, also updated to 15.1, no change. Siri voice is set to female and any requests like how's the weather or what's the time, Siri responds in female voice. When I say hey Siri call <name> I get a male voice response. I have not tested other commands to see if there are any other instance when it switches to a male voice.

I’m facing the same issue with my iPhone 11 after updating to 15.1 software. The voice switches to male whenever I command Siri to make a call, even though I’ve selected the Indian female voice. I’ve tried using the UK and US voices and the issue seems to be the same, the voice switches to some other unrecognisable female voice other than the voice that is selected. And it’s not only for making calls, it switches the voice when announcing tasks like, ”I’ve set your alarm at ___pm/am.” Or “I’ve set your reminder.” I’ve even tried wiping the Siri data and the same issue continues. As a person who pretty much uses Siri commands for everything, this issue is very annoying. I’d appreciate if the community sends a fix or an update to resolve this issue.
