I'm setting up a new iPhone 13 Pro and in the settings for the music app I don't have the option to hide purchases. In Settings > Music , the toggle for "Show all purchases" is missing. Anyone know how to get this back?

When I couldn’t find the setting on the new phone I realized my old phone was running iOS 15.0.2 and the new phone was running 15.1. So I upgraded the old phone to 15.1 and the option to show/hide purchases disappeared from the settings.
I figured out the issue. Not sure if this is a bug or an omission on purpose, but the "Show All Purchases" option is missing from iOS 15.1. It's infuriating that Apple keeps removing this option, I don't want the last 20 years of iTunes purchases and "Free Song of the Week" cluttering up my phone, it makes finding the music/artists I want to listen to a real chore.

Follow these steps to either hide purchases or show originally hidden purchases:
Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support
Hide purchases from the App Store - Apple Support

Hi Karina, thanks for the reply. The links you sent apply to the desktop version of iTunes and not the music app on iOS. The problem is that the toggle to show/hide purchases is missing from the music app settings. I've attached a screenshot comparing my old phone and the new phone.
I have this issue too! How did you find out that this option is removed from 15.1? Are you sure there's not another way to find it?
I agree with you, it's very annoying that I am seeing any purchase from 2010 still showing up in my default music app. Very bad design!

I noticed the same problem (iOS 15.1). Hopefully a software update will solve this problem in the near future. It's frustrating to have a long list of artists/albums/songs that I don't want/need on my iPhone because the "show all purchases" toggle is now not available.
