Control Command Spacebar has always worked in the past for a shortcut

Alternatively you can access them via the Keyboard Preferences menu bar item if you have it enabled (System Preferences… -> Keyboard -> Input Sources and check "Show input menu in menu bar.")

Hit the function key/globe. Bottom far left key.

Wow, somehow I never knew, I've been using the menu for years now. 😳
