Mac book air cursor

I shut done the Mac book. Tried to sign in but I can’t move the cursor. Any suggestions

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.13

Hi,

If your MacBook Air has Intel Processor, try to resetting NVRAM as well as SMC could solve the issue.

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

If they don't help, try to run Apple Diagnostics if it's caused by hardware related issue(NDR001, NDR003 to NDR006).

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support
