LTE to 4G gone

Installed latest iOS today and my ability to cut LTE off and switch to 4G is now gone. AT&T iPhone 11 Pro Max. Is this a bug or permanent removal?

I have the same exact problem! I use AT&T as my phone network and this shows when I go into the Cellular Data Options:I SPECIFICALLY drew a marking right in between the other 2 options to show that the 4G to LTE switch is missing. So you know, the problem isn’t associated with Apple, it’s because AT&T is shutting down 3G and this is why it won’t show after being updated to iOS 15.1. So that people can’t switch to the 3G network since it is shutting down! I hope this piece of information can help you in any way!

Hey Bmurphy80,

It appears that you updated your iPhone 11 Pro Max and now you're unable to switch to 4G and also turn off LTE. If you haven't already, you can check to see if carrier settings are fully updated for your iPhone 11 Pro Max (as this is separate from an iOS update): Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Let us know if that helps or if you've already tried that step.

Take care!
