Airpods with SiriusXM app

After the IOS 15 update, if I'm listening to my SiriusXM app, I put the airpod pro plugs in my ear and the program goes back to the beginning of where I started listening to the SiriusXM app. The pro's never did this before the update. Normally, you would put the plugs in my ear and the program on the SiriusXM app just continues. The way to get around this is to pause the SiriusXM program, then wait for the airpod's to connect to my phone, then hopefully the SiriusXM app won't lose it's place. Does anyone else have this situation occur? Thanks, Bruce
