iMac hard drive disc

I got hard drive (1.0TB SATA/32MB Cache) out of my iMac, so I need compatible enclosure to save some picture and music and sent it to my other Mac. I would very appreciate if anybody can tell which hard drive enclosure is gonna by compatible and explain what is simplest way to move data. Thanks!

Hi folks, so there is a software issue with my iMac fusion drive that will most likely require me to do a full cleanup losing all my data regardless of the partitions. So I literally took the iMac apart, pulled out the hard drive and stuck it into an external enclosure which can then connect to my MacBook . The problem is, I need to somehow put that drive into the target disk mode , but i cant do it on the actual iMac because it simply won't boot up. So in short, is there a way to put the hard drive into the target disk mode while it is physically taken out of the iMac and connected via "drawer" and usb to a MacBook simply to try and save as much data as I can from the other partition before we have to wipe the entire hard drive?

Fusion drive external enclosure Hello community I'm about to replace the fusion drive in my late-2017 iMac with a SSD. Would like to do a clean install. Can I put the fusion drive into an external enclosure and copy the files I need once the new SSD is set up? would it work? thanks

just about all of them which fits the 2.5" or 3.5" size
