My wife updated her 2015 MB Air to Monterey, and now there are no pictures/graphics downloading into email messages. There is only a box/placeholder with a blue question mark. Does anyone know how we can fix this? It was working perfectly in Big Sur/

Thanks for the helpful link. I'm still a bit confused about about potential conflicts between the new privacy settings that hide IP addresses and picture/attachment downloads. However, since I'm stuck on Catalina on an older iMac and don't have the same choices, I'll have to wait until my wife is finished for the day on her computer to explore further the various "new" settings that are now available.
