Billing info in downloading free apps

I’m trying to download Snapchat & I’ve already had the app before. It won’t let me download it without my billing information and when I put in the correct billing information it says I have the wrong info. Why is it making me pay for a free app? and when I try to login into my apple account it says I’ve gotten the wrong password & the trusted phone number I have isn’t in use anymore and I’m not able to change it

You signed in here to post your topic with an Apple ID, are you using a different Apple ID for iTunes & the App Store? If so why?


As to your payment issue, unless the payment methods listed in your account details offer a NONE option, you must have a valid functioning payment method in the details, even for redownloading and for free apps.
