Enable Photos in iCloud on your new iPad. If they were enabled on your old iPad, then they should popup in iCloud. So, Perform the following in the order provided:

I need to get pictures transferred from my Apple phone really quick tomorrow because they are taking my iPhone wirk phone so I need to transfer oictures to my personal iPad tomorrow morning
I need to know if I have to make a Apple store appointment to do this or do I just get there early
