Atv4k hdr settings dark?

I haven’t had an Apple TV sense the very first gen so I might be missing something ! But some movies are darker than enjoyable . The best I can get it to work is at 4K SDR 60(59.94Hz) HDMI output at high RGB with content match on. So at least now the HDR Logo when I start the mandalorian looks white and not that khaki orange color and looks good. Anyone else have any ideas as to why this is a problem? I don’t seem to be the only one that has had this issue.

Please set your Apple TV box (and TV) to YCbCr (not RGB) with 4:2:0 chroma for that HDMI connection.

SDR with Match Content (both Dynamic Range and Frame Rate) is a pretty good advisable setting.

Let us know that that goes.

I’d say that fixed it well enough ! Must have been that chroma 4:2:0 setting. Disney+ seems to run smoother now too! It was running nice but looked really dark I changed it and ran slow and confused but looks good now. I really don’t watch tv much as you might tell just getting to Mandalorian. I just had surgery so might not be thinking as well as I should. I’ll keep an eye on it
