I just placed order with iphone 13 pro max. There are some option for me to choose. Connect with t-mobile, at &t… and the last is connect with your own later. Is it connect with your own later unlocked? I can use this phone with any carrier?
You are right on both counts. Yes it is unlocked and you can use that iPhone with any carrier (ATT&T, T-MOBILE, SPRINT or VERIZON and others).

Technologically you can. At one time ST would not support Bring your own Device (BYOD) as they wanted to make money selling phones. So you need to ask ST.
