Bluetooth pairing between iPhone and Mac Mini M1 "not supported"

No, they have to be paired for this to work and that's the problem. They pair up and then they disconnect.

I am having the same issue with my M1 IMac and my IPhone 8 Plus.

Here's a screenshot stating "...and has Bluetooth enabled."

i have a brand new mac air m1 chip..... but my iphone 12 mini will not pair with it. i get the message that the mac air is not supported.

BT pairing between iPhones and Macs has never been supported or needed, PERIOD.

That did not work for me.

I can not Pair my IPHONE 12 to my IMAC, When I try I get an error message "Pairing Unsuccessful" , my IMAC is not Supported

Thanks Brian.... I was afraid of that. It's always such a pain to sign out and in of iCloud...

I too need this problem addressed to be able to use a hotspot with Iphone Pro Max 12 and M1 Macbook Pro. Not having a hotspot feature is unacceptable and unworkable for me. Apple, this feels like a microsoft problem; it is wildly frustrating and breaks the whole ecosystem for me.

No. The debug menu is not part of Monterey. The only way to do this is to restart your computer, or use a Terminal command:
