Apple Pay balance not updating with received payment

I accepted a payment from someone through iMessage but the amount I accepted isn’t showing up in my Apple wallet. I’ve restarted my phone to assist with updating the balance and it still isn’t updated. Without an updated balance I can’t transfer the money to my bank account. Is there any solution to this?
