HomeKit Camera Not Responding

i have 3 HomeKit cameras (Logitech) purchased directly from Apple. They’re set up in the home app and using my iPad as a hub. iPad has the latest update.

all three of them go “offline” at random, for random periods of time.

the only way I’ve been able to get them to come back online is to unplug and replicate in the cameras.

if they go offline when I’m not home, which they do, it defeats the purpose of having them!

has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution?

Hello eclipsesps1607,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities.

Let’s see if we can help, we know you want to be able to depend on these cameras working. Looking at the information you have shared, needing to power cycle the cameras to get them back online.

Have you verified the internet connection is not dropping? And have you verified there are no updates to be installed when you go to Settings > General > About on your iPad?

Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If so, it sounds like you will want to reach out to the cameras manufacturer support. They can be reached by going to logitech Support

If there is anything we can do on our end just let us know.

Have a great day!
