So I have a 2021 GMC Acadia with Wireless CarPlay. The vehicles WiFi data plan has expired. When you connect to the Vehicle with my iPhone 11 via WiFi the CarPlay works BUT I cannot surf on my phone. I Have to disable the WiFi to be able to look something up (Which disconnects me from CarPlay). I don't understand why it doesn't just switch to using my Phone's data Plan. Anybody else having the same issue. Would love a fix

This is an expected behavior if your vehicle does not have its own internet connection because wireless CarPlay uses Wi-Fi connectivity.
