Does anyone have any ideas to get the photos off a 10 year old iPad? I just realized there are a lot of photos on it and other than emailing 1 at a time to my email is there a trick to it?

Assuming the iPad can be powered up and mostly works and any passcode is known... Plug the 30-pin end of the old charger cable into the iPad, and plug the other end of that cable into a USB-A connection on a Mac or Windows computer, and import the photos:
