Apple carplay

Hi

i have a problem connecting my iphone 12pro with new fiat 500 via carplay

when i plug in usb cable nothing happens

just iphone start charging. And in settings>general i dont have carplay option

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 15

My cord was working fine with my 2023 Hyundai Elantra then all of a sudden it stop working My Apple CarPlay was working fine and all of a sudden it stopped working. This is a brand new iPhone 14 Pro Max and a brand new 2023 model car. It charges my phone, but CarPlay will not connect. I keep getting accessories not supported message.

Apple CarPlay vs Apple iPhone 8 plus I have an iPhone 8 Plus. My new car has Apple CarPlay. My iPhone 8 Plus charging cable will not work with the CarPlay. Is there an adapter I can get to work my iPhone 8 cable?
