Adobe Lightroom 6 on a new MacBook?

I just bought a MacBook Pro with Big Sur OS

I bought it for photo editing and use Lightroom 6, which is no longer supported from Adobe.

Now it's called LRC and is subscription based. And I don't want to pay 10 USD per month for the subscription, since I already have the software.

When I try to install it, it says it is not compatible with High Sierra or newer.

So far I have received 3 solutions

• Delete Big Sur and install an older version
• Return Mac and buy a windows computer
• Use another photo editing software

Non of them really appeal to me.

Is there a way around?
